Terms of Use

By using ourscent.online you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

OurScent is an information service about fragrances: descriptions, notes, accords, ratings, reviews, comparisons and prices at independent stores.

OurScent also runs its own store, selling decants and sets it fills itself. Those orders are sold by the company named in the footer for your market, under the Terms of Sale, Returns Policy and Shipping Policy. Payments are taken by licensed payment providers (Paymob, Tabby, Tamara); OurScent never sees your card number.

Offers from independent stores in "Where to buy" are not sold by OurScent. When you buy one, you buy from that store, under its terms, prices, delivery and return policies.

• You must be at least 13, or older if your local law requires, to create an account.
• Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person, one account. Do not create accounts to inflate votes.
• You can delete your account at any time from the Privacy Policy page.

Reviews, votes and notes remain yours. By publishing a review you give OurScent a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to display, translate, excerpt and distribute it on OurScent and in material promoting OurScent, for as long as it is published. Delete it, and the licence ends — except for copies already shared that we cannot recall.

Everything you post must follow the Community Guidelines. We may refuse, edit for length or format, or remove content that does not, and suspend accounts that repeatedly break them.

Do not:

• scrape, copy or republish the site's data in bulk, or run automated requests that burden it;
• manipulate ratings or reviews, including paid or incentivised reviews that are not disclosed;
• attempt to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours, or probe the site for vulnerabilities without our written permission;
• use the site to break any law, or to infringe anyone's rights.

The site's design, code, Arabic texts, translations, compilations and original imagery belong to OurScent or its licensors. You may read, share links to, and quote short passages with a link back. Anything more needs our permission.

Brand names, bottle designs and logos belong to their owners and appear only to identify products. See Content and Copyright.

We work to keep information correct, but perfume data, formulas and prices change. Everything is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Prices come from stores' public listings, are checked periodically, and may be out of date; the store's price at checkout is what counts. To the extent the law allows, OurScent is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for purchases you make at third-party stores, for the content of third-party websites, or for reactions to any product. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer where you live.

We link to stores, brands and social networks we do not control. A link is not an endorsement, and their terms and privacy policies apply once you leave OurScent.

We may change or discontinue features, and update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. We may suspend access for anyone who breaks these terms.

These terms are governed by the law of the country where OurScent's operator is established, without limiting any mandatory protection the law of your own country gives you. We will always try to resolve a complaint directly first — write to us.
