About OurScent
OurScent is an Arabic fragrance encyclopedia. Its aim is simple: to give Arabic readers accurate information about any fragrance in their own language, instead of leaving them to translate it from a foreign site.
What the encyclopedia covers
- 64,204 fragrances
- 3,263 fragrance houses, Arab and international
- 1,742 notes and 88 accords
Where the data comes from
Fragrance data — notes, accords, release year and perfumer — is gathered from public sources and organised in a single database. The ratings shown belong to the source they came from, so we don't present them as OurScent community ratings or include them in the page's structured data. Descriptions copied from other sources are excluded entirely and never appear on the site.
Arabic names and descriptions are not machine translations: they are written and reviewed by hand, and we fix anything we find to be wrong. If you spot a mistake, write to us and we'll correct it.
Prices and links
We show prices from shops that actually sell the fragrance, and some of these are affiliate links: if you buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. This doesn't change how fragrances are ranked or what we write about them. Prices change, and the shop has the final word.
