OurScent

Content, Copyright and Takedown

Last updated: 28 October 2026

Where OurScent's information comes from, who owns what, and how to ask for something to be corrected or removed.

Where our information comes from

OurScent compiles publicly available facts about fragrances — names, brands, launch years, perfumers, notes and accords — and adds its own Arabic writing, translations, community ratings and editorial analysis.

Facts about a perfume are not owned by anyone. The way we select, organise, translate and write about them is our work.

Trademarks and images

Perfume and brand names, logos and bottle designs are trademarks of their respective owners. OurScent is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any brand unless it says so explicitly.

Bottle images and logos appear only to identify the product being described.

Using our content

You may link to any page and quote short passages with a link back to the source page. Copying our texts, translations or data in bulk, or republishing them elsewhere, needs written permission.

Asking for removal or correction

If you own rights in something on OurScent and believe it is used without permission, or if information about your brand or product is wrong, send us:

  • the address of the page concerned;
  • what the content is and what right you hold in it;
  • what you would like us to do — remove, replace or correct;
  • your name and contact details, and a statement that your notice is accurate and made in good faith.

We review every notice and act promptly, normally within 10 working days. If content you posted is removed after a notice, we will tell you and you may reply.
