Cartier launched La Panthère in March 2014. This new fragrance was inspired by the heritage of the house: the panther as a symbol of the brand and perfume Panthère from 1986. La Panther was also the nickname of Cartier muse Jeanne Toussaint. It is a symbol of freedom in 2014, designed for the woman who is independent, gracious and rebellious. In August 2014, La Panthere Extrait version of the fragrance is also presented in perfume extract concentration. This more intense version of La Panthere stresses the "wild" nuances of the composition. A velvety touch gives additional warmth to the extract. A chypre accord of musk and gardenia is completed by flower of iris. It is available in bottles of 15 ml at the price of 170 Euros.
