Interlude Woman begins with a bright, slightly bitter opening of marigold and ginger, brightened by grapefruit and bergamot, giving a citrus‑spicy spark. The heart quickly becomes a rich tapestry of incense, walnut, immortelle, kiwi, honey, opoponax, coffee, sandalwood, rose, orange blossom and jasmine, producing a sweet‑smoky, floral‑nutty core that feels both gourmand and incense‑laden.
