Amber

Amber in Western perfumery is not one material but a warm accord, usually labdanum, benzoin and vanilla, distinct from the ambergris that Arab tradition calls by the same word. It smells resinous, sweet and warm, and sits in the base to give a perfume depth and staying power.

Amber is in 2,522 perfumes, mostly woody and powdery, used most by Tom Ford and Dior.
