Turquoise HOC for women and men

New fragrance by the ultra-niche house HOC Parfum, Turquoise was released in 2024 as part of the HOC x Mateo drop — a trio of gemstone-inspired fragrances, alongside Malachite and Mother of Pearl, each entrusted to a different perfumer. The nose behind Turquoise is Marie Hugentobler, a Firmenich perfumer with more than twenty years of experience across fine fragrance, personal care and air care creation. Known for an enthusiastic, joyful and driven approach — and for pushing the industry toward AI-enabled, forward-thinking perfumery — Hugentobler channeled her own brightness directly into the composition: the citrus notes of grapefruit, neroli, mandarin and blood orange were chosen, in her words, to reflect her personality as much as the clarity of the turquoise stone itself. The stone of protection and clarity. A vibrant citrus opening — grapefruit, blood orange, neroli, and mandarin — bursts open like sunlight on skin. Anchored by the glow of frankincense and a soft musky, powdery finish, it feels like an exhale of light and freedom. Presented as a Parfum concentration (20%) and part of HOC's Gem Box collection, Turquoise reflects the house's broader philosophy as a "house of artists": each release is conceived without a commercial brief, built instead as a personal, almost confessional scent-memory of its creator — part of a deliberately limited, collector-oriented output rather than a mass-market line.
