Fallen Words by Phronema Perfumes is a parfum extrait composed by perfumer Weston Adam and inspired by Yoshihiro Tatsumi’s manga collection of the same name. The fragrance reflects themes of contrast and tension drawn from rakugo storytelling and Tatsumi’s stark narratives, translating them into an olfactory structure built around luminous citrus notes, nuanced florals, animalic accents and a mossy, woody base. Bright facets of orange, lemon and other citruses are interwoven with orange flower, jasmine, lavender and geranium, resting on tonka, hay, musk, ambergris, oakmoss and sandalwood, with pine and camphor adding a resinous, atmospheric dimension.
