The Legend.. Betrayed by her unfaithful lover, a bewitching enchantress finds her heart shattered, tearing apart her once contented being. Suffocated by the grasp of misery, she seeks solace within the forbidden dark arts, delving into the realms of the occult. Her pursuit for revenge leads her to a burial ground, where she comes across a black cherry tree, cursing it with her seething vengeance. Knowing her lover's insatiable lust for power, she spreads false tales of a mystical tree holding the ability to bestow eternal life. Upon hearing this, the remorseless lover scours the land, his relentless pursuit leaving a trail of death in his wake. Just as his hope begins to fade, he receives a cryptic letter, revealing a hint to the tree's location. Not wanting to share, he travels to seek the tree alone. Soon, he nears the burial ground, guided by the heady scent of black cherry hanging in the night air, he discovers the tree. Its branches reach out like skeletal fingers over the surrounding gravestones, as if beckoning him into its embrace. With trembling hands, he plucks a single fruit, surrendering himself to its secrets. As the first bite lingers on his tongue, its poison takes hold, slithering through his veins and seeping into the cracks of his soul. His muscular arms grow weak as invisible threads bind his limbs entirely. From a concealed corner the enchantress emerges, her heart aflame with vindication as the lover's limbs begin to move at her command. His voice speaks her words without his own volition, a prisoner in his own body he is forced to witness his own actions from the chambers of his consciousness. His screams reverberate within his mind, while she savours the taste of revenge, a bitter nectar upon her tongue. The enchantress moves closer, and in a voice laced with a chilling sweetness, whispers in his ear, “Remember when you promised, I’m Yours?”
